Gentlemen - due to the possibility of Pippingford Park NOT going ahead, we have decided to put back the Ashby event to cover that weekend.
It is a chuffin shame I know, I for one was looking forward to Pippingford Park (despite the travel). I hope that it will go ahead some other time, if it does you can be sure I will be one of the first ones to sign up for it.
Bottom line = March 18/19th = NO EVENT April 08/09/10 = Asby De La Zouch
I am sorry about this change of plan, but due to the fact that P.Park looks like it may not go ahead, Chris and I had to make a difficult decision as the vast majority of you chaps had made arrangements and we didn't want to let you down.
The fee for Ashby is £10.00 - those of you who have paid £20.00 for P.P see me and I will sort out a refund of £10.00 for you a.s.a.p.
The weapons hire for Ashby is through Steve and Hellen Vickers - get on the blower and book your weapons a.s.a.p. -Do you all still want to chip in a fiver towards the hire of a Bren or two??
Stay lucky
Guv.

Theres no extra cost if you book it in advance mate, just the cost of making the call. You'll just pay the amount it costs to use that weapon for the weekends blatting. Always best to call VVS the minute you know of an event as they always fill up really quickly. And if there is any doubt over your paper work keep ringing them to make sure you don't have any problems on the day ;D

i never use more than 50, but i like aiming shots, so anywhere around that mark does me.
Anything over 100 is probably normal! ;D

To my knowledge.. Whizz. Bonkers Bonkers mate (Andy). Max Monty (Sunday only) Sparky. Bob. Possibly Stuart Ev. Oll. Guv. Stu D. Pesolo. Tiny. Pikey (poss.) Dom. Hedge. Eddie. Troy Ian (poss). Dave S.
Have i missed anyone ?
If your hiring please book your sticks ASAP. I'd recommend a 100 rounds for no4's. As planned full on living history with Blank firing tacticals.... Can you let Bob have your fee (£10) at Husbos.
