G'day gang(s),
So here we are - yet another re-enactment season is upon us.
What do we want our objectives to be for this year? I'm sure Chris will agree, we have exceeded our wildest dreams last year, above and beyond.
For my 2d worth, I would like to see the Home Front aspect of the society gain momentum & on the overseas front, look at some of the less well known theatres of conflict.
What about youze guys?

A new year and the first " official " tommy year has passed. For a lot of us our first year as re-enactors as well and a blinding way to start our new hobby.
Exceeded expectations is an understatement to say the least 28 great blokes and umpteen great days/nights with you all. Looking at the fact that more pbi groups are popping up its easy to say we have set the trend/standards for years to come.
Thanks for all the memories from my first night with 3 complete strangers in a field in Bristol ( oooeerrrr ) to Stowe probably one of the greatest places to re-enact, if only i could look as good as olly in the fashion shoot ( i wont miss that next time ) to chris looking b******s after a quick blat on the sunday afternoon, you all looked great.
To the most memorable time of wondereing why i was laying in a muddy riverbank in Berlin thinking about my knackered £85 trousers then realising myself and Tiny had 10 hun pinned down, we gave em what for.
But most of all meeting vets who like to talk to us and have the time to say hi, i always wondered if they thought we looked complete idiots. The answer is definetly not.
Not forgetting Les please say thanks to him Chris for acting as camp security when we all bugger off, a great asset indeed.
Thanks to you all for a corking year sign me up for another .
Monty
