How many blankets do you think best to keep in ur kit store?.....I read the article you sent, if I remember rightly from the article you sent wasn't the standard issue 1, with more to be issued in the times of severe cold.

Each man had 5 blankets - 2 were retained in the Q store in case of 'inclement' weather. The remaining 3 were kept with his large pack in company transport.
I guess it's up to the individual how many he takes to P Park, I will be taking 2.

After Stoneleigh's shopping trip my 'wish' list has greatly reduced. Now all I will be looking for this season is the following little bundle :-
4 Sten Mags. Size 4 leather-strap gaiters. Mk 2 Helmet. Pullover. Groundsheet. OR's tie. Brown size 11/12 boots. Early war pattern respirator. More tan blanco. An Aussie greatcoat would be nice too! And when I win the Lottery - a de-ac Owen machine carbine.
Sigh!! So much kit, so little time!
Guv.

Liner no problem, I have a mint condition *original* 7/34 laced BMB 1939 dated beauty, this is inside a restored mid bronze green 1940 shell. net and strap are unissued. Don't worry about the dosh mate, wasn't thinking too much the money we can sort something out when we meet up. I'll email you with some photo's. Catch you later. Eddie P.S. Monty might be able to help with the dressings, currently doing a lot of work on me WW2 first aid gear.

This belt is VGC (last time I ordered owt off SOF got a box of anti gas eyesheilds what I actualy got was a cardboard sleve full of rust an mould)... going to stop before I go off on one I'd say tell him £25 notes if that sounds fair??, trying to raise some dosh for all of my events and remaining kit.........must remember to post me wants list Here's a piccy, homepage.ntlworld.com/basilrat/sb.jpg

It's currently a work in progess to fill my 1943 military Medics haversack (actualy officers style small pack with painted red cross on white circle is best I can describe it)
I have always been into first aid and medical stuff so thought I would combine my 2 interests....... l have managed to obtain a lot of original civil defence/home front medical supplies......basicly comes through raiding old tatty ARP first aid boxes for their contents, Have a lot fo fun doing it as well.
I'm looking into bulk buying some military issue medical equipment also, hence fingers crossed in the not too distant future I can sort you out some stuff if you aint found it in the meantime.
