Chris, is the 100 .303 per man if they want them or just for those hiring from Vickers, I wouldn't normally ask its just that I'm having difficulty getting to anywhere that sells them because of work.

having seen the meagre amount Steve V has currently i'd guess it's just for those hiring, best call him to know for sure. There's a lad with the Hampshires (James Mumford) who's sectioned 5'd...... there's a chance he might bring some.

Just having a look on the WW2 forum and found this: The Rules of engagement and timetable for living history event Redditch 27/28 November 2004. 0800 arrive at site and kit up and collect weapon. 1000 Rendezvous (RV) at command tent for briefing. 1100 Event commences rules of engagement now in force. 1630 event ends. Sunday 1000 RV, command tent for briefing. 1400 end of event. The Rules of engagement. Casualties- if you think that you have become a casualty in combat either retreat acting as though you are wounded or lie down and do not move until the enemy are out of your area. Prisoners- from the start time to the end times given you are liable to be captured by the enemy unless you are acting ‘dead’<br>Or the event has been stopped due to an injury or for a reason by an appointed person, prisoners will be held indefinitely, weapons and equipment may be removed at official Prisoner of war reception points (signposted), your kit will be tagged- you have been warned. Conduct- Please abide with the above rules as it will make the event more fun and realistic if there is anything that you are not sure of please contact the organiser or at the event contact an appointed person. On a personal note I'm not happy about being made a prisoner 'indefinately' or having my own weapon removed from me (the only way that'll happen is if some one uses live ammo on me ) so I suggest that no matter what happens we stay as the section at all times and if anyone gets wounded or killed we drag them out of the fire fight. What'd you think?
