What are your favourite weapons from WW2, doesn't have to be Allied, we'll allow the 'Dark Side' in on this one ;D
Right then, I'll start the bidding with
1: Lee Enfield No4.
2: MG 42

My choices are , Top is the No-4 . Why ? Cuz they are such a beaut to shoot, no pun intended. The woodwork is soooooooooooo cool to hold & when you have one in yer hands ,don't it feel like it should always be there? 8-)Second is the good ole smle. Don't need to tell yer how sweet this peice of British engineerin' is . And when it is coupled with it's little friend, the bayonet .What a luverly pair they make. I am seekin' professianal help even has we speak. The broom handle mauser mmmmmmmmmmmm. is me last. ( cuz i want one OK )

1) The Bren with the 100rd AA mag Then when run out of ammo for that switch to 2) The Lanchester ( everything the sten should have been) with 50rd mag of coarse! 3) M1911, .45 of pure stopping power, a small number of extended mags were produced, 20-25rds
If I had a 4th it would be the De lisle

As Judge Dredd would say "you can never have too much Fire Power" Personly I have to draw the line at Nukes, It's cheating and no one wins.

Gotta agree there, it's the equivalent of godmode on a computer game - it's just a cheat.
Personally, me top 3 (in reverse order) would have to be:
Vickers. yummy.
Bren. cheaper and bob'll let me have one.
SMLE (No.4 slides in between bren and SMLE) - who wouldn't want to own an SMLE, i mean, really?
